Veronica Scalabrini is the president and founder of Scalabrini International, an international trading and consulting Company with branches in Italy and the Chicago area.

Ms Scalabrini's professional career spans several years as an Export Manager and as a US Director for a major italian tile manufacturers (IRIS Group - Bisazza North America).

She holds a Bachelor and Master degrees in Economics, Mathematics and International Trade and Marketing and she is fluent in Italian, French, English and Spanish. Ms Scalabrini has lived and travelled in different European countries and the US for over 20 years.

Veronica Scalabrini has fifteen years in the tile manufacturing and related service industries in business development operations, domestic and international sales, sales management and consulting. Successful track record of providing direction and leadership to organizations in order to optimize operations and control costs, increase customer satisfaction through quality and service improvement and boost sales via innovative sales strategies.

Appointed Sales Director for the North American and Canadian Markets. Relocated to Chicago, IL
Duties included: implementation of goals to increase national sales volume, develop existing and new national and regional distribution networks (wholesalers, dealers, retailers, but also contractors, builders, architects and other project specifiers). Full responsibility for market research into the US economy and development of leads within this market segment. Development of National Accounts including Ford, Guess, Marriott, Hilton, McDonalds and others. Specifications provided on a pre-project and per client basis for both private and public sector accounts. Responsible for agents and brokers (teams of 7 to 10 people in average) recruitment, training in estimating, budgets, sales, presentations, product knowledge, market development, performance monitoring, and dismissal of non-performers. Organization, management, contracting and follow up for trade shows and related sector events. The position requires intensive traveling in order to develop market share and penetration in each State of the US.
