Carlos Gutierrez, former CEO of Kellogg's, will be in Chicago on Thursday, January 28, for an exclusive luncheon at the Sheraton Chicago. I hope you can join us for this special event.

Gutierrez, who also served as U.S. Secretary of Commerce, is one of the best speakers on leadership and business lessons I have ever seen. He has had a legendary career - his family fled Cuba and briefly settled in Mexico, where a teenage Carlos worked as a cereal delivery boy. After immigrating to America, Gutierrez joined Kellogg's as a sales rep, and through hard work and talent, the cereal delivery boy rose to become the one of the most respected and successful CEOs in Kellogg's - and U.S. - history.

Gutierrez reveals that the greatest successes and failures of his career were really about leadership and people issues - hiring the right people, developing great teams, and communicating effectively. Perhaps what sets Gutierrez apart from many speakers is the length he goes to customize his speak. Each talk is uniquely prepared, increasing the take away and the connection with the audience.
