Description ACE update: Periodic Monthly Statement Program, ACE Entry Summaries, Census Overrides, Post Summary Corrections

Attention all Importers and Customs Brokers: The Bureau of Customs and Border Protection has been working for more than ten years to design an entirely new electronic means of conducting business with the importing community. CBP has been implementing ACE in specific stages. We are very pleased that, Phyllis Rubenstein, who has participated at a national level in the development of ACE, and who is officially designated an ACE Ambassador for the Bureau can return to update importers on the program’s progress.

A fee of $65 will be charged for ITCC members and $85 for non-members.

The AMA meeting facility is located next to the Marriott O'Hare at the intersections of the Kennedy/O'Hare Expressway and Cumberland Ave. The River Road/O'Hare CTA train stops at Cumberland, walking distance to the AMA. Free parking is available in the Marriott parking lot; attendees should have their parking checks validated at the AMA.

CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDIT
ATTENTION CERTIFIED CUSTOMS SPECIALISTS and ATTORNEYS: This program is approved by the National Customs Brokers and Forwarders Association as qualifying for credit in its Certified Customs Specialist program. This program will provide 2.5 hours of credit. The program is also licensed by the Illinois Department of Professional Registration for Continuing Education Credit for accountants and other professionals.
